When do hair transplant results develop?
The result of a hair transplant is not assessed on the day of the procedure. Appearance develops over months; completing a short stay in Antalya does not mean that the growth process is complete.
A general development timeline

Instead of interpreting each day’s appearance as success or failure, discuss changes with the team responsible for your procedure. Your own follow-up plan and individual instructions take precedence over general information.
Keep a more consistent photographic record
Ask your healthcare team how to take photographs for follow-up. Using similar lighting, camera distance and angles, and recording the date and any change in hair length, helps create a useful record for comparison.
- Record front, top and side views as requested by your team.
- Do not use beauty filters, thickening effects or image retouching.
- Store images with their dates so different stages are not confused.
- Share them only through the agreed communication channel.
Photographic comparison does not replace a medical examination. Shooting conditions can also affect appearance, so avoid drawing conclusions from a single image.
What can you discuss at follow-up?
Note the changes you have observed, questions that need an answer and the timing of your next consultation. Keeping your procedure record, care instructions and follow-up notes together makes it easier to refer to the same information at each conversation.

YES Hair Antalya maintains follow-up contact for one year after your return. The consultation and communication arrangements are clarified as part of your visit plan. Medical assessment remains the responsibility of the relevant healthcare facility and authorised healthcare professionals.
A year of follow-up does not promise that your final result will be complete within a year. If assessment is needed later, discuss where and how it will take place with your healthcare team. Contact us about follow-up arrangements.
